wow!! you are truly amazing, i still nurse my 15month old and i always get asked when i am going to stop. its really irritating because he’s not ready for that, and frankly neither am i. Ive been wanting to conceive a second child hopefully soon, you are such a great example for all us breastfeeding moms, thank you for sharing your story♡

    • Hi Marlene, Thank you so much! It’s so hard not to question ourselves when everyone else seems to be questioning it out of lack of education on the topic. You’re doing what is best for you and your son and you should be proud of that!! Breastfeeding is such a sacrifice so way to go on 15 months, mama!! I wish you the best of luck when you try for another baby! xo

You are amazing Mama! Thank you so much for sharing your experience with breastfeeding a toddler and a new babe!! We are still nursing our toddler, who just turned two, and have started trying for our second baby. So happy I stumbled across your instagram!!

I SO love this post. My son is almost 30 months + we still breastfeed. A lot of times I am made to feel weird for still allowing him to but I know that he’s receiving not only comfort from me but also tons of nutrients! It’s so great to hear another mom encourage us all! Thank you 🙂

Thank you for sharing this! I came across this at the best possible time. I’m four weeks away from my due date with my second (my babies will be exactly 21 months apart!) and my firstborn still nurses a couple times a day. Your story sounds so familiar — we also have big changes happening a few weeks before baby comes and I don’t want to overwhelm my daughter by ending our breastfeeding relationship too, She’s needed it in many ways throughout my pregnancy. Did you deal with any nursing aversion in your pregnancy or when tandem nursing? Also, how do you deal with negative comments from others?

I’m so happy and hopeful reading this post! We are unexpectedly 15 weeks pregnant with our second and I’m still happily nursing my 18 month old. When baby is born, my oldest will be just shy of 2 years old, and my hope is to breastfeed for the whole pregnancy and tandem nurse. Reading about how your daughters bond through nursing together is beautiful, and I hope for the same. I also heard that breastfeeding through all of pregnancy can prevent some of the pain of nursing a newborn, when your nipples are typically not used to it. Did you experience less pain with your second newborn? Thanks for sharing your story!
