I'M NICOLE
hi lovely!
I was so excited to attend an early screening for “Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle” at the Green Hills Regal 16 in Nashville! The event was hosted by Amazon Prime and they went all out (of course) in true Amazon fashion.
Before we talk details about the event, are you an Amazon Prime member? If not, what are you waiting for?! Kidding (sort of)! But honestly, I have no idea how to survive without Prime- especially now that I have two little ones at home and we need things ALL. THE. TIME. 5-7 day shipping just doesn’t fly over here.
I can’t tell you the number of times Prime has saved me when I forgot someone’s birthday or remembered it 2 days prior! If you’re not sure if you’ll like it, give it a try! I have a feeling you’ll end up being a Primer for life like me. 😉
And for those of you that are just as impatient as me when it comes to ordering things online and wanting them NOW. Amazon has made your dreams come true– introducing Prime NOW!! I had not heard of it until the event, but I signed up on the spot. 1-2 hour delivery. WHAT?! Amazing. I know. Amazon is taking over the world. No, but really they have everything you could possibly need. Photo storage. Movie streaming. Groceries. I could go on and on and on and I’m sure you can tell I’ve been a Prime member for YEARS so it’s super easy for me to talk about Amazon because I love them so much. So let’s move on to chatting details about the event!
THE EVENT:
I brought my friend Courtney to the event with me. She and I have been friends for 10+ years. She is from my home state Delaware and relocated to Nashville 5 years prior to us moving here. We had so much fun hanging at the event! We took lots of photos in the photo set up, played around on Snapchat using the Jumanji filter, and took some photos pretending to rub The Rock’s bald head (haha!!). After playing around taking photos, we took some time to learn about Prime Now, and then grabbed some popcorn and nachos before heading into the theatre.
The movie definitely made me feel all nostalgic when it showed the game and the Jumanji dice and chant. It brought me right back to my childhood watching the original with Robin Williams. The Rock did an excellent job creating this sequel. It was a perfect mix of action and comedy! Thank you again, Amazon for a fun night!!
